Important Twickenham rugby news for all companies considering hospitality in 2017/18….
East Stand redevelopment means less stadium hospitality
There will only be 3 stadium facilities available at the Six Nations for England versus Wales and England versus Ireland (Wakefields 20 seat boxes, Rugby House restaurant and The Player’s Lounge).
So NO Obelenskys, Wakefield’s Restaurant, The Rugby Club, Players Lounge or St George’s Suite, although a temporary marquee is being erected in one of the car parks to cover some of the shortfall.
End of offsite (non-stadium) hospitality
It’s been confirmed that as of the end of the 2018 Six Nations there will be no more offsite corporate hospitality (Cardinal Vaughan/Twickenham Village, All Hallows, Cole Court, The Stoop, Orchard Enclosure, Chase Bridge, Knellar Hall).
This means that over 2000 hospitality packages that are now available in the official offsite venues will be brought into the new East Stand hospitality facilities from the 2018 autumn internationals onwards.

What does this all mean?
-
There are only two home games for the last Six Nations with offsite options and those games are the most desirable of the championships against Wales and Ireland so demand and package prices are at a premium.
-
All Twickenham Stadium facilities have a fixed premium pricing structure meaning there will no more negotiating for group or repeat booking discounts.
-
The numbers and prices for all official tickets bought from rugby clubs by hospitality providers are now set and strictly managed by the RFU ending the ability of the clubs to negotiate directly with the hospitality providers. This means a decrease in numbers of match-tickets available for offsite hospitality packages and ultimately an increase in overall retail cost of the package.
Insider info ;
-
With it being the last chance to get offsite hospitality packages for the Autumn Internationals there’s a great opportunity to negotiate special one-off terms for tickets and pricing on the non-stadium options.
-
Once completed Twickenham Stadium will be a world leader in terms of a rugby corporate venue with one of the biggest hospitality capacities of all rugby stadia.
-
We can help you discover the full range of available options for the Autumn Internationals and Six Nations from stadium viewing boxes and restaurants to offsite and bespoke options.

Prestige
Twickenham hospitality is not a cheap entertainment option with a high ticket cost element to the packages. This is evident in the kind of people and businesses in attendance with high numbers of blue chip and market leading businesses and industry experts in the hospitality areas on a Twickenham match day.
This also creates a certain kudos for clients being invited to a high-level match at the home of rugby. Guests discover the unique Twickenham experience of rubbing shoulders with the great and the good from the business AND rugby worlds
Scarcity of tickets
If you’ve ever tried to get tickets for a big game like England versus Ireland or England versus Wales you’ll understand that tickets are seriously hard to come by and so demand extremely high prices, especially if you need large groupings.
