For 2019, there were brilliant blue skies, dystopian raves, lusty choruses, funk and soul sets, mystical rabbit holes, litter picking poets, Eavis as Elvis, Capaldi as Noel, Chris Martin as, well, Chris Martin.
There were the headliners and the new acts, the epic singalongs and the secret sets.
To put it in Emily Eavis’s words, it was;

2016
Well ‘Helloooooo’… 2016 was ‘Madness’ with Adele donning her wellies.
Coldplay ripped in up in front of 100,000 glowing glee makers and it even featured some mud (not shocking) and Brexit (fairly shocking!)….
Glastonbury is a golden bucket-list event so make sure you’re there….

You can only buy Glastonbury tickets through ballot and Glastonbury hospitality tickets are not available to purchase to the general public.
5 Day VIP Glastonbury Festival Hospitality Passes at The Glastonbury Festival The Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm, Somerset 26th – 30th June 2024
Glastonbury Festival Hospitality Passes come with a camping spot in Hospitality Camp Area which is just at the back of The John Peel Stage
Access to festival as a whole (you do not need to buy normal festival tickets) plus access to the VIP areas
VIP access including the Inner Circle of the Inner Stage / Backstage Pass with access to the performers’ and managers’ area, with private bars, food stalls (at an extra cost), VIP toilets (very important!), mingling with celebs, media and other VIP’s.
VIP Hospitality tickets also allow you to camp in a special area dedicated to just hospitality ticket holders.
This area has portoloos, shower blocks, a bar and some food vendors.
The area is based as close to the hospitality parking area as possible, to reduce the carry distance. It’s a lovely spot and looks over the whole site and of course is included in the ticket price.
Tickets are strictly non-transferrable and normally reserved for the music industry.

If you’re lucky you can experience Glastonbury like a rock star with hospitality tickets or if you won the lottery and got your tickets through the Glastonbury Festival ballot then congratulations.
The Ballot for normal Glastonbury Festival tickets is a high-odds musical gamble but I guess you’ve got to be in it to win it so good luck!
